Abstract This coverage was derived from the 7.5minute USGS quad coverage for the state of New Mexico. It shows a quad index for the USGS 15 minute quads.
Purpose Data divided into 15 minute sections along the quad boundaries might use this coverage to identify individual sections. It was intended to be used as an index to the USGS 15 minute quads.
Supplemental Information Arcs bounding the 15 minute quads were selected from the 7.5 minute quad map and put to a new coverage which was edited for dangles and intersection errors.
