Identification Information
- Title 2011 Pacheco Post Fire, Aspen Basin NE NW, CIR
- Date 2014-04-03
- Date Type Publication
- Cited Responsible Party
-
- Organization Name US Forest Service - Southwest Region - Region 3
- Role identify
- Presentation Form remote-sensing image
- Abstract This dataset contains imagery for the Carson National Forest. The imagery was flown to provide coverage after the 2011
Pacheco Fire.
- Purpose To provide post fire imagery for planning and restoration purposes.
- Supplemental Information Imagery was collected in late summer and early fall of 2011 in support of US Forest Service management
efforts after the summer fires of 2011. Stereo imagery was collected with a
large-format, digital camera as four simultaneous bands with an 8-bit depth per band
and at a GSD of less than 0.30 meters. The resulting 4-band images were rectified to
a USGS DEM. An Aerial-Triangulation was performed on the imagery using image tie
points with the ABGPS and IMU. Supplemental breaklines were merged with the USGS DEM
and subsequently used to rectify DOQQ image mosaics for final RGB and NIR
orthophotography.

- Access Constraints There are no limitations for access.
- Use Constraints These orthophotos were designed for optimal viewing at 1:2400 scale. Performing
quality control or plotting images at scales larger than 1:1200 is not recommended.
Field verification of data accuracy should occur prior to design level tasks that are
dependent on the data.

- Attribute Accuracy Report
-
- Report These orthophotos were designed for optimal viewing at 1:2400 scale.
Performing quality control or plotting images at scales larger than 1:1200 is not
recommended. Anomalies observable only at scales larger than 1:1200 are considered
to fall outside the specifications of this project.
