Abstract This dataset contains imagery for the Carson National Forest. The imagery was flown to provide coverage after the 2011 Pacheco Fire.
Purpose To provide post fire imagery for planning and restoration purposes.
Supplemental Information Imagery was collected in late summer and early fall of 2011 in support of US Forest Service management efforts after the summer fires of 2011. Stereo imagery was collected with a large-format, digital camera as four simultaneous bands with an 8-bit depth per band and at a GSD of less than 0.30 meters. The resulting 4-band images were rectified to a USGS DEM. An Aerial-Triangulation was performed on the imagery using image tie points with the ABGPS and IMU. Supplemental breaklines were merged with the USGS DEM and subsequently used to rectify DOQQ image mosaics for final RGB and NIR orthophotography.
