Abstract The aerial photography inventory contains aerial photographs that are retrievable on a frame by frame basis. The inventory contains imagery from various sources that are now archived at the Earth Data Analysis Center.

Purpose Aerial photos were collected by various flight contractors and submitted in support of projects. They now serve as a valuable historical reference for the scientific community and general public to use in conjunction with more recent imagery.

Supplemental Information This imagery was flown for New Mexico Office of State Engineer. The images are made available through Resource Geographic Information Systems (RGIS) and they are not geo-referenced.

Process Step

Process Description Aerial photos were acquired by various contractors. Aircraft used to collect these photos may include General Dynamic's WB-57F; Lockheed C-130B and NP-3A aircraft; Lockheed U-2s and Convair 990 aircraft; and other commercial aircraft. Some of the cameras used on past missions include Zeiss, Hasselblad EL 500, Wild Heerbrugg RC8, and Chicago Aerial KA 62.
