- Abstract This data set contains boundaries for all surface water and surface drainage for the state of New Mexico. It is in a vector
digital data structure digitized from a USGS 1:500,000 mylar map of the state of New Mexico. The source software used was
ARC/INFO 5.0.1 and the conversion software was ARC/INFO 7.0.3. The file size is 2.94 Mb, compressed.
- Purpose This data set was created to digitally represents surface water and surface drainage for the state of Mexico. These data are
typically used as base data for other coverages, and should be used at scales of 1;500,000 and smaller. The data are intended
for use as a general reference as to the extent and boundaries of the surface water and surface drainage of New Mexico.
