- Abstract The Rural Addressing Line File can be used to differentiate road feature
types, address ranges and ZIP Codes, and jurisdictional transfers.
- Purpose Geocoded Road information to be used by 911 services. In order for others to
use the information in the DAC Addressing data base in a geographic information
system (GIS) or for other geographic applications, the Community Development
Department releases to the public extracts of the data base in the form of
Addressing/Line files. Various versions of the Addressing/Line files have been
released; previous versions include the 2000 files, 1999 Addressing/Line files.

definitions, etc.) than the previous version.
