Description
Abstract This dataset contains the vector line map information for the 1:24,000 quadrangles for New Mexico. This dataset was obtained as a nation wide dataset from the National Map.
Purpose This dataset shows all the USGS 7.5 (1:24,000) quads for the New Mexico. It is to be used for reference to help find other data for areas of interest.
Supplemental Information Please note that some of the map names have changed since the last publication.

Process Step
Process Description The data was downloaded from the National Map as a nationwide dataset. The quads covering the state of New Mexico were extracted and saved as a new shapefile for ease of use. A new field for Alternate Name was added to show that some of the map names have changed.
