Abstract This dataset contains boundaries of the New Mexico Forestry Districts, plus the names of the district offices. It is in a vector digital structure digitized from a U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) 1:500,000 scale mylar of the state of New Mexico. The source software used was ARC/INFO 6.1.1 and the conversion software was ARC/INFO 7.0.3. The size of the file is 0.03, compressed.
Purpose The Forestry Districts and Offices data set was developed to digitally represent boundaries of these areas in New Mexico. These data are intended to be used as general reference as to the boundaries and extent of the Forestry Districts. The data should be used scales of 1:500,000 and smaller.
