- Abstract The City of Las Cruces and the Dona Ana County Flood Commission requested the
Soil Conservation Service to conduct a study of the northeast Las Cruces area.
Residential and commercial development in the study area and the potential for
continued expansion necessitate a responsible land and water management plan to
ensure reduction of soil erosion and flood risk
- Purpose The intent of this study is to provide flood hazard information and
recommendations for the City of Las Cruces and the Dona Ana County Flood Commission
to help address runoff and sediment problems.
